Job Description


The Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment (BEOE) in Pakistan is currently recruiting 30 steel fixers for a project in Uzbekistan. The salary for the position is 400 USD per month, and the duration of the contract is one year.

 

The steel fixers will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

  • Preparing and placing steel reinforcement for concrete structures
  • Measuring and cutting steel bars
  • Bending steel bars to specified shapes
  • Welding steel bars together
  • Inspecting completed work for quality

 

The BEOE is looking for candidates who have the following qualifications:

 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a steel fixer
  • A good understanding of steel reinforcement techniques
  • The ability to read and understand blueprints
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
